The London Mayoral Elections

I'm not one to often stick up for Donna, but what the hell's 'pompous' about pointing out that adopting a cod lisp as a matter of course simply ain't funny or insightful in any way.

Besides, isn't it far more pompous to use words and phrases you haven't the capability to spell, nor the ability to arrange into sentences properly. It's like shoot yourself in the foot, stupid style.
why the flying fuck does it need point out period love.

donna always dose this and they did it as their last incarnation until they ended up being hounded about it... just becuase they don't like the manner a poster says something isn't call for a fucking equiry nor does the effette arrogant twat have some kind of god given right to attack a poster over what words they use rather than their meaning, eloquence not withstanding...

the same could be said for low brow snipes who would challenge the concept of an assertation by how it's spelt rather than it's content...

one might compare it to the kind of discrimination of not taking on board someones ideas or concepts due to their origin...

but then you'd have to be some kind of class a fucktard to do any of those things eh?

Donna doens't have any more rights that any other poster and the faux board cop you shouldn't say things like that it's tiedious/boring/so benith me is donna's standard response when they haven't got any come back or response to a point. indeed, at that juncture without fail they revert to the pedantic type ...

as for your disabled bashing I'd have thought you knew better. Ah well live and learn...

Livingstone is hard to beat now.

If the LibDem candidate really isn't very good that's good news for Sian Berry I think.

Are you sure about both those assertions?

You have a point about DF. But I do find it funny that someone who rightly says that the far left is irrelevant at the same times obsessively and endlessly posts about them in a way which verges on OCD.

Thats me that is.

Livingstone has a personal following which is very rare for a current Labour politician and that means his vote isn't as soft as Labour's.

I think the old Labour and old Liberal votes will go to the Greens as the old traditions die out in their parties.

Vanishingly rare. Is there any other Labour politician who hasn't blown whatever political capital they once had by what they've done in office?

I think a lot of that enduring personal following is down to herdlike fashionability (an extension of the 'celeb-worshiping culture') rather than it being anything political.

("look how kewl I am! I support wivingstone! And I supported Bwair before that! Anyway - I'm off to watch Big Bwuvver! Fwun! fwun! fwun!")

no it isn't you utter unthinkin gtosser... it's cos people older than you remember ken as being in power until maggie took him out and that he stuck it to the tories back in the day (and as a direct result fucked the rest of london over by depriving them of the GLA when he wouldn't back down...) this still carries the standard for a lot of people that he is as leader of the GLA and as Mayor in fact London through and through. the fact that his megalomanic perosnality and his utter destruction of the place for his own ends hasn't been more pilloured is down entirely to this...
