*Bump*...simply because next Tuesday marks the centenary anniversary of the murders of Rosa Luxemburg & Karl Liebknecht.
When we last visited Berlin, in 2017, we went out to Lichtenberg specifically to see the memorials in the Gedenkstätte der Sozialisten (the Memorial to the Socialists) at the Zentralfriedhof Friedrichsfelde. I took this pic of Rosa's memorial plaque/grave(?).

Until it was demolished by the Nazis in 1935, this section of the Zentralfriedhof Friedrichsfelde had been dominated by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe's imposing, 'brutalist'/modernist Revolution monument:

For any Urbz going to Berlin before May 19th, the charming little Märkisches Museum (on the left bank of the Spree, SE of the museum island & S of Alex...the museum by the bear pit!) is holding what looks like an interesting centenary exhibition on the November revolution:
