The Lauren Laverne Worship Thread

I saw them in Bristol about a week before they split up at the LA2. They were brilliant, though they only played Come Out Tonite from At The Club. I loved Kenickie :)

Lauren was funny as fuck, haven't laughed so much at a gig ever.

I used to see them (kenickie) around all the time when i lived in Camden. I always thought she was (LL) was funny but lately she has developed a bit of a collapsed nose. The Culture Show is shite.

I met her after a gig in december 96, they were all lovely and I ended up singing christmas carols with them :o /

I've got a photo I took of her drunkenly wrestling on the floor with a female bandmate...

What am i bid? :D

The idea, the iconic reality, of Lauren Laverne is superb.

But iconic reality is not the same as social reality. I am in no doubt that the social reality involves neediness, and as such I must officially register myself as disinterested.

Kenickie; Sunderland's greatest ever export?

Re. her radio show, pity me, whilst I am very grateful to my lift-givers I still have to endure that fuckwit Moyles for 25 minutes or so. It really doesn't perk me up for the day.

Shes got the same hair stylist as me & she jogs in the same park!

Shes very fit:)

I like her lots I do;)

cheers ranu, shit in EVERYONE's cornflakes why don't you :(

*lauren laverne makes me go a bit funny and i always thought it was just me and kept quiet*
