I saw them in Bristol about a week before they split up at the LA2. They were brilliant, though they only played Come Out Tonite from At The Club. I loved Kenickie
Lauren was funny as fuck, haven't laughed so much at a gig ever.
I used to see them (kenickie) around all the time when i lived in Camden. I always thought she was (LL) was funny but lately she has developed a bit of a collapsed nose. The Culture Show is shite.
The idea, the iconic reality, of Lauren Laverne is superb.
But iconic reality is not the same as social reality. I am in no doubt that the social reality involves neediness, and as such I must officially register myself as disinterested.
Re. her radio show, pity me, whilst I am very grateful to my lift-givers I still have to endure that fuckwit Moyles for 25 minutes or so. It really doesn't perk me up for the day.
