I still hold out hopes that she'll do Glastonbury ....... before 2010, anyway ...

The production standard's were absolutely breathtaking for the time.Poi E said:Great news. Technically, "Hounds of Love/Ninth Wave" are incredibly detailed. I used to use them to test home audio equipment. Only the best started to unravel the dense production and engineering.

Kate Bush is/was one of the very, very few originals with more talent in her little finger than a whole chartful of identikit warblers.
She's written, arranged and produced absolutely cutting edge stuff and Hounds of Love was a work of absolute genius.
editor said:Kate Bush is releasing a new single, 'King Of The Mountain' on the 24th September with a double album 'Aerial' scheduled for release on November 7th.
Kate has produced both the album and single herself.
Although she's never recaptured the glorious heights scaled with the superlative Hounds of Love, I'll still be looking forward to hearing what she's up to.
Btw, I'm sure this post from drowned in sound is pure urban legend, but it's worth repeating:

I'll second that, there's a B'ham based group of guys I've met on a couple of jobs that seemingly do every job whilst completely off their faces on coke. This is whilst 50 feet up and rigging several tons of PA/lighting gearpk said:Riggers are fucking mad though, every single one I've met has been certifiably insane, especially the ones who fly the heavy stuff...

that's pretty much the same accross the industry, ime. i think it's a matter of having to work flat out until the job is done - there's very few people can do a 24 hour shift with no stimulants...beesonthewhatnow said:I'll second that, there's a B'ham based group of guys I've met on a couple of jobs that seemingly do every job whilst completely off their faces on coke.
