The K Foundation burns a million pounds

Yeah but it involved humiliating a harmless woman in front of the whole country.

i think you have a rather optimistic view of the viewing figures for the Turner Prize :p

there's plenty of other things they could have done to prove nothing whatsoever and get attention for themselves, esp with the Turner Prize, but they did this. And I don't like this aspect to it.
They could have even picked on someone who deserved it.

the target here wasn't Whiteread, it was the Turner Prize. If it was Whiteread, it couldn't have been related to the prize because they couldn't know she was going to get it.

if you think I'm going to waste another minute of my life posting stuff for you to bitch and moan about, you can cock right off :)

work it out for yourself, brainiac

But, you said you was gonna explain it all

You did, didn't you?

Maybe not the veiwing figures for that night but loads a people get to hear about it.

Yes I know she wasn't the target as such, they just needed the winner of the Turner Prize, but the schtick was that it was given to her for being the 'worst artist in Britain'.
she is a human being tho and there's better targets.
I know I am being sensitive about her situation and most people wouldn't agree with me, but I'm just putting my point of veiw across.
Just cos the KLF done this I don't have to like it.

what is this, cognitive dissonance run riot or something?

whether or not you accept that i know they did it, you have to admit you don't KNOW they didn't.
If they did, they are fucking twats of the highest order.

I wouldn't do it. You wouldn't do it. You might think up a stunt in which you hoax people you've done it, but actually do it? Nope.

Now, if you KNOW they did it, how do you know it?

I've seen a film in which Derren Brown says he slows down and stops his heart. I don't believe he does, though.

I've seen a film in which David Blaine says he's puuting his arm through a plate glass window without breaking the window or leaving a hole. I'm certain it's a trick.

I remember Paul Danniels apparently tearing up a £20 note, then "magic-ing" it back together. It was a trick.

I saw the K foundation film in which bank notes they say amount to a million pounds are apparently burned. I'm certain they are deceiving us.

Now, if somebody has insider information that the million quid was really burned (and not just seeing a couple of badly singed bank notes), then I'll reconsider. But until then I disbelieve the KLF claims.

read Drummonds "45" to get some back groudn on the Jura episode and the Scots Islands that seem to crop up all the time/ part of the disinfoamtion legacy

Reconsider then :p

Cop out :)

Don't blame you tbh, it's impossible to prove it happened, especially to people who can't believe anyone would actually do that (it's a bit of a stretch for me to accept it myself).

But anyway, I believe you - sometimes you just have to go with your gut on things.
