The Joy of Tunnocks

how many made and sold every week? it's been creeping up gradually over the years as more poeple see the light?

Are Tunnock's still totally independent and family-owned? I would love that idea, even though they make stuff that I shouldn't really eat. It would make getting fat more ideologically sound...

Tunnocks rule! The caramel wafers are so powerful a single bar can quell my skunk munchies for at least 30 minutes.

Compare this with the 'whole pack of jaffa cakes' which leaves me needing more not 10 minutes later...

Well. :o

In the intrests of research I popped past Sainsbury tonight & as well as the normal wafers & logs, they also had plain chocolate Teacakes & Caramel Wafers, plus Wafer Creams.

I now have lots of Tunnocks. May have to forgo my rowies tonight? :)

Now I want rowies!

What you should do, to save your waistline, you understand, is send some comfort packs to well-deserving homesick urbanites.

Oh yes, to save your waistline.

Think I will feel the need to bump the rowie thread soon. ;)

Thing-is, I can't go into the baker after the pub for just a few rowies, I'll probably need a pie or two too & pancakes if they have them! :hmm: :o :)

Absolutely brilliant set of images from the Uddingston shop!
Those images are great. They have an air of the past - a more innocent time.

I love Tunnocks wafers.

There was a good Tunnocks thread a while ago: http://www.urban75.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=206786
