ridiculous that we didn't win. notice it was all percentage play? whereas sweden took the direct approach.. we just fannied about relying more on luck/percentage payoff than actual skill/good play. total joke! £10 on Ecuador, innit

Well I was going to start my own J Cole appreciation thread...
...as a (climbs into bunker) blues fan I've thought he was underrated. He doesn't always start for Chelsea and I've been thinking "oh why?". Of course, he's regarded as a luxury player. But the fancy footwork and confrontational style of play is turning into something. If England had another few who were on Cole's current form, then we wouldn't be the talented-but-wobbly squad we seem to be right now.

Cole wasn't England's best player today, true; but I didn't see him "go down too easily". He worked hard again and created.
It was a great strike by him against Sweden. Not goal of the tournament (so far that goes to Maxi for that amazing volley against the Mexicans) but it will be in the top ten.
