Zola was the best free kick taker I've ever seen, although I wouldn't elivate him to truly great in terms of others as he was somewhat overshadowed by playing in the same era and position as Roberto Baggio.

Not a lot of love for defenders here. I mentioned Sammer and Maldini, but how about Desailly, Cafu, Costacurta, Baresi and Mihalovic?
