Thats the aspect of racing I absolutely hate.

I don't see why they can't make it safer, the owners, jockies and fans all say they love the horses, not just the winnings, so why can't they lower a few fences, i doubt the difference made will be that substantial.

I had a fiver each way on Slim Pickings. Mysteriously the bookie paid out €40, which was way too much apparantly! I was very pleased!
