Indeed. Nobody laughs at Life of Brian anymore. Nor the Holy Grail. But that big kitten climbing up the Post Office Tower has me in stitches every time.
Nobody ? It's the other way round for me. Not all, but lots of Python still makes me laugh and while I find the kitten cute, I never thought that sketch was remotely funny.

If Python are less funny now than they were its because so much comedy has mined that surreal/absurdist style of humour since then and it's not as surprising as it was, but there are aspects of satire to Python's humour (about religion, class, gender roles) which still makes much of it work for me.

I didn't grow up with The Goodies, so I haven't seen that much, but what is supposed to be quite so hilarious about the kitten/King Kong sketch has always been a head scratcher for me.

I was laughing at Life of Brian only this morning. It's the funniest thing the Python's ever did - and there's a lot to chose from. LoB is genius.

I can't vote as the poll predates my awareness if urban, but no, not likely. I remember watching it as a kid, vaguely, but not if I lined it or not. Have seen clips since, not even vaguely amusing.

Life of Brian is good, the Python TV series isn't as funny as I used to think it was. The holy grail is terrible.
For the record kitten Kong is a shit episode.

Kitten Kong is not a good one to judge the goodies on. It's certainly a low point for me.
