The fuck buttons

I was at that gig, and evidently missed Fuck Buttons. Even worse was that I was under the impression that the Dirty Projectors were Fuck Buttons' replacement.

What a shit band! And that lead singer looked like one the biggest twats in the business - even from afar.

Astoria gigs alway start really early - I made sure to get there super early as it was fuck buttons who I was most interested in seeing.

Dirty Projectors replaced Liars who were originally on the bill. Apparently their most recent album is a reinterpretation of a Black Flag album - I don't know if they were playing any of that stuff but whatever they were playing I hated it with a passion.

I'm listening to Sweet Love for Planet Earth as I type - great stuff, and for sure the best post-rocky stuff I've heard for a while.
