The footballers who are shite even if they have a couple of decent games thread.

Nah it was longer than that. When he was at Leeds when they were doing quite well...

Him and Vaduka looked great at leeds. I think our harry dined out on that period for years too. He would always show a glimmer of form that made you think he was getting his touch back but mostly he was either injured or dribbling the balls aimlessly into the feet of one of the oppositions defenders:mad:

Only just seen this.

Sorry, but it's more a case of him being a fucking excellent keeper who has had the odd shocker.

What is it with british keepers and making complete howlers when playing internationals? Green, James, Robinson, Carson and even Seaman have all done them..

Do other national teams have such bad luck with their keepers?

Green hasn't even had a chance for England (except for that B game against Belarus when he got injured)

You could put out a whole team of ex-Liverpool players

James
Josemi Henchoz Babb Traore
Diouf Murphy Zenden Berger
Baros Heskey

Yeah Berger was a great player

Speaking of Liverpoo Cisse has to be one of the most overrated players I've ever seen. He can finish but 90% of the time he doesn't ever seem to do anything in a game

Murphy, Berger, Baros and Henchoz all earned their keep.
I hated how we played when Heskey as about, crouch made me feel the same but if Emile had the midfield we have now and playing the ball to to his feet more i think he'd of shone at the time. Not that i think it's worth bringing him back either.

Diouf was never going to be anything other than shite after he upset the Celts:mad:

David 'Calamity' James was a title that he earned at Liverpool.

Great shot stopper but consistently makes a blunder of judgement that can cost you a game, or many in Liverpools case.

Patrick Berger was a great player and it was his pass that sent Owen through to beat Arsenal in the FA cup in its dying seconds.

Edit: After some thought not sure David James has ever had that special moment?

Henchoz and Berger were class for a year or two. Henchoz and Hypia were the new Hansen and Lawrenson no?

I'm not having Danny Murphy in there either. Not brilliant but not shite. Another hard worker and possibly the only player to score the winning goal at OT 3 seasons running?

I've never heard of half the players mentioned and the other half are incredibly unintteresting.

Can we talk about Brian Kilcline and Gary Micklewight from when football was still good?
