The flexible labour market and the destruction of working class communities

Doesn't religion play a big part in community activities there? broad based organising. welfare, soup kitchens, etc, even if its progressive.....

i guess we need to look over to the states and see how they organise in the factured communites there

Is it? It's sad people want to better themselves by moving somewhere they think nicer? Why?

What proportion of the people reading this have always lived in the community in which they grew up? How many have never been 'taken in by free market migration policies'? Not many, I'll be bound.

Nothing against people wanting to better themselves,newbie.
But the effect of supporting those free market migration policies has a shit effect onthe world. It means devloping countries losing the people they need most. Now its not about blaming doctors from Africa or India etc who want to live or work in the UK or US but it is about recognising the effect that has.
