They knocked us out too the fuckers - however, as the list of their victims gets longer we now look better by the company we're keeping :D

  2. bromley

bromley ...isn't as good as Lewisham.

Some great giant killing this weekend thanks to cowardly managers who rest their players to concentrate on the league, 3 wins away from a trip to Wembley, why?!

I was astonished (but delighted as well, obviously) by the Oxford result .
I'd been predicting a 0-4 Newcastle win, but what do I know? :D

Hope we get a team big enough to have our next round game televised on the Sunday (or Friday night, or Monday), because I'll be in Bristol all Saturday 18th February and I can't get out of that commitment ...

How do you know what the next round draw is?

I would rather Leicester than Derby because our crowd will give them hell, the 12th man . We have a small squad that needs promotion and the backlog of games is piling up so i won't lose any sleep if we go out. I certainly won't go to wembley if we make the semis because it's a rip off and a shit stadium to watch football at. kick off time 5.30pm on a saturday evening for the cameras, fuck em .

A little anticlimactic tbh. Probably a step too far away but not the big tie you hope for. Still we'll give them a good game.

what have Blackburn to do with anything? I thought you were talking about the top four (remaining) Premier League teams

I wonder will Sutton switch there tie to the Emirates. I seem to remember this happening in previous years to another non league club.

A match like that can't be safe at Sutton. Could they not move it to a neighbouring ground?

It would have been a nice pay day for Sutton.

It will be a huge payday for Sutton. It would be cruel, but if at Sutton, they could ask what they like.

They have just coped with Leeds and Arsenal won't get a bigger allocation.

Yep, with all due respect to Burnley and their history not quite the glamour of other prem sides but just as hard to beat.

Oxford also have an unglamourous tie with a Prem team, and away as well :(

Middlesbrough. I doubt that'll be televised, so being stuck in Bristol all day on Sat 18th Feb, I'll miss it altogether.

Not impossible that we can beat them, or drag them back to our place, but I'm none too optimistic.

You don't even get to be the plucky underdogs all over the telly in the run up due to Lincoln and Sutton, despite also having a great run.

The39thStep Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbour?

The only team that's guaranteed to be televised is Manchester United. 56 consecutive FA Cup games on TV, United must have something on the private life of someone high up in the FA. 22 years of fucking Man Utd in the FA Cup , even When BBC wanted to show the Lincoln game the FA insisted that they televise the Man Utd game .
