Either 2-0 us, or a goalless draw. I can't see them getting too much past our midfield, far less our defence, but they're a defensive side and if they keep posession away from us I can't see us trying too hard for the win at this stage. I think Paraguay is possibly the hardest of our group matches.

Sweden by a mile are our hardest opponents in this group. It amazes me the sheer complacency of our supporters. We have been spoon fed failure since I was young. England over 20 years has not really changed in its style of play. It probably never will, and cannot hope to win the world cup unless we send out a clear message in this game.

I cannot see how we can be complacent when we have 6 players in the team all very capable of scoring goals and all with loads of experience. As someone pointed out, if Lampard was in any other team he would have been their top scorer.

I really think that the Owen/Crouch partnership could be a blinder.

Jan Koller is who's anbout 6'8", plus there's at leats 1 or 2 othe rplayers who are rcekone dto be slightly taller than Crouch.

Jan Koller is also 6'7"" but there's Zigic the Serbian forward who's 6'8''. The Swedish goalkeeper Isaakson is about 6'7'' as well. Otherwise there's a number around 6'6''.

Oh yeah, Paraguay will sadly score but 2-1 seems the likeliest outcome to me. I hope.

England have to pass the ball on the ground, to players that can shake off their marker. I wonder if we have managed 4 consecutive passes in their half. With Rooney we at least try to play football, instead of the long ball to crouch.

put 5live on, it's more objective though you will have to put up with Alan Green when Mike ingham has finished.
