The England vs Trinidad and Tobago thread

after yesterday's joke of a game i'm not sure if i can be bothered with the Swedish match. until the subs came on i havent seen a more useless team so far this world cup. they make Poland look creative

really irritated me seeing England fans waving their dumb little flags and cheering, the c*nts. really wanted to give one of them a slap for being such sheep. what in the bollox have they got to celebrate?

its not what you do its how you do it. i sincerely think that most England fans would rather they win by boring everyone to death rather than go out in a blaze of glory in the quarter finals - and that just sums up the whole attitude of dull English football

Sorry, but I support my football team and when they win I'm pleased.

I'd imagine this is what those dumb old England fans were thinking too. Why would they not be pleased England had won?

Last world cup England played excellent, until they come up againt Brazil.

We were pretty average against Sweden and Nigeria to be honest with you.

I don't trust teams who go through the first round thrashing everyone in sight, they'll get undone on the rock of a well organised defence as has been stated by others. Lets see what happens when the knock out stuff starts eh?

Not to say I think we will go all the way but I've been watching world cups for twenty years now and all the fancy dan all out attacking sides tend to get rumbled by the second round/quarter finals.

Ashamed? Not in the slightest. I'm more ashamed at so-called football fans berating a hard-working and successful player through no other reason than they don't like the way he looks. It is truly pathetic and quite saddening.

i know its not very nice of me but i hope Crouch snaps a leg and so i don't have to see his pathetic attempts at playing footie. he's utterly useless. for every goal he scores for england any other striker in the premiership would have scored 2

Why don't you just go and watch Big Brother instead.

I got the right scoreline but I can't prove it.

Thank God for JTG and a few others on this thread that did appear to actually watch the game.

I'd drop Gerrard or Lampard. They do not work together, they've had plenty of opportunities to prove otherwise. They basically want the same role in the team which I think is making them both hesitant and unsure.

Midfielder in front of the back four, and let's add Lennon to the mix.
