Theatre tickets have long been too expensive. As a family of four we only very rarely went to the theatre. £48.11 per ticket is just shy of £200, to which you add travel and probably food. That’s not something we were going to do even as much as once a year. So there’s no chance of paying £140 per seat. That’s just crazy talk. To see a play you’re taking a chance on being any good?
