I think I tracked this down. Although the maximum attachment size was set to 10MB in XenForo, PHP was still limiting the maximum HTTP POST size to 8MB. I've aligned them both to 10MB now.

I had a Springer called Nessie who opened the fridge and ransacked it - a dozen eggs, a pound of Lard, a pound of butter, a litre of milk, a kg of salami....

It took about 2 minutes. You have never seen a dog eat like Nessie - she made a large shark look both shy and retiring, and on a diet.

    Right, name my dog...

He has arrived, he's 10 weeks old and a Lab -GWP cross, and he's from a working gundog Kennel in Mortimer Forest on the Shropshire- Herefordshire border. IMG_20180302_164047325.jpg

So, it's either Stig, Monty, Morty, Humphrey (don't ask...) or Otto.

    Views and opinions..?

Humphrey is an excellent name for any pet. May I also add Cedric for your consideration?

He's gorgeous, so glad he recovered OK.

Not Morty or Humphrey. Otto or Stig, but I still think Gustav (and thus Gus, Gussy) suits him.

    Either way, he's a beautiful pup :)

We had finally thought we found a decent vet in China, and left him there to have some kidney stones removed. Then late one evening, the night before our wedding, the vets called, "What do you mean he escaped?". So we told them our address and 20 minutes later, just as we were about to start the long drive home to look for him the vet called again, they had found him. Crossed several busy roads, found our building and made it up to 14th floor outside our door
But he's alright most the time

Don't you have other dog(s) kebabking? If so I think we need to know their names before choosing one for the pup.

    Yup, we've got Tipsy who's a Springer, and Tango who's a Lab.

Meg is a German Wirehaired Pointer who came to live with us when her owner just couldn't give her the life she needed - she's just moved up to an estate in Northumberland to be a working gundog. Both her parents are field trial champions, and she'll be one too.

We've had a Coke, a Ben, a Bracken, a Tod, a Rose, and a Rueben in the last 7 years...

Biscuit spends much of her life looking for table treasure.

    Sometimes, tea towels.

If Albert’s left unsupervised in the kitchen (we have a gate to keep him out) he’ll head for the bin obviously and then tea towels and oven gloves. He used to eat them but now he just licks them like a lolly until we evict him.

We’re pretty safe with the counter tops and table as he can’t reach and never really discovered his jumping ability.
Good job as my last bearded collie (who was lovely and obedient) used to scale high walls and gates and escape regularly. Albert’s such an arsehole that he’d definitely use his powers for evil.

On a serious note, my aunt visited last w/e. She grew up on a farm (after escaping London post-war). We talked a lot about dogs.

I hadn’t realised that “Tiggy”’s full name was Antigone.

    So there’s a possibility.

(Apparently she was an arsehole, mind.)
