Oscar is so lovely. I hope the tail biting stops soon.
Some people swear by these things:
Calming Coat for Dogs, Grey
Distinct possibility that this is the first pic of our chocolate lab.
(Who we won’t meet for a good many weeks.)
Mr DeMille, I'm ready for my close-up
Omg! All the love.
Ruby looks at a cat
Ruby as always looks lovely twentythreedom and that cat looks pretty special too. Is that a house cat? I'm intrigued by the hole in the floor of the run
Yeah it's a Bengal house cat with an outdoor run, the hole goes into the downstairs section
Ruby still wins Best Ears On a Dog Ever but I think Oscar's nose is a unique thing of beauty too
Oscar had a bath and clip on Friday. He didn't appreciate the bath, apparently.
He's now a lot less beardy, and possibly slightly less cute-looking.
He's not been biting his tail (touch wood) and we've got some anti-flea medication for him as the topical stuff didn't seem to keep them at bay.
Here he is this morning, catching some rays on the windowsill while I work. Doesn't look very comfortable but he stayed there for an hour at least.
Very smart Oscar, and just as cute
Ruby stalking a massive German shepherd on the beach
Yes that's a broccoli stalk It's the only food he'll come and beg for - completely uninterested if I'm cutting up meat.
Ruby LOVES broccoli maybe there's something about it that dogs particularly like?
Maybe - I think sweet & crunchy seems to be a good combination for them. Giz loves apples too (actually that's the only other thing he'll follow me around for) and most fruit and veg, tbh. Cucumber was a surprising success recently.
Just find it weird that I can offer him meat, but unless it's perfectly cooked he gives me a look like I'm trying to poison him. Dog has no idea how to dog
Dug some old pics out. Olli.
Oscar likes tofu. Weird animal.
Jessie with her pet coconut!
Jessie and me having a minute.
Barni wants to know why I’m not uploading any pics of him!
Superdog to the rescue...
Astounding news just in. 1 in 3 dog owners won't die! Or is that if you aren't married? Or maybe married with one dog?
Dog ownership linked to lower mortality
That's cos Superdog saves you, innit.
My dog Bonnie was an unwanted dog on Craigs list so I went and picked her up. She was really shy for a few days and then for a few weeks after would always stand behind me if other people were near and growl if they came too close.
I had one almost identical age/colour/ breed etc. except she had the most outgoing personality, she was wearing me out, if I didn't bleed then she wasn't trying hard enough...or so she thought. Anyway this one is OK now, but has to be kept on a lead. Was crook the last couple of days, wouldn't move or eat just vomited. She'sOK now though.
I would like to introduce you fine folks to Alice!
That's her as a pup.
She's getting bigger!
My feral cat (LucyFur) seems to like her, but Alice wants to play, so I have to keep an eye on her when she's inside.
I thought this was nice
Ruby looking srs on boat
Note scar under right eye - acquired in a short scrap
ears specially for trabuquera
Looking pretty hench and tuff there Able Seadog Ruby !
Yep, the scar under the eye does it ...well 'ard !
She looks a lot like my dog (above) Bonnie has ears like a donkey and even then, one of them is bent.
I've tried glue and staples but just hurt myself and eventually gave up when I stapled her eye shut and and then glued my hand to her face for a few days.
It's a year since I got Ruby - here's some pics from the first week
