The dirty, the tasty and the quick.

bag of cool dorritos.

can of chilli con carni.

tub of guacammali (sp lol)

throw can of chilli con carni onto dorritos

cover in cheese,

put in oven spread with guacammali.

BANG

Tub of sour cream and chive dip
we were responsible for taking crisps and dips to a friend's house the other night and I got a tub of this for the first time in ages - what a treat.

Mrs B turned down my first suggestion that we get one of those carousels of dips they sell, which would have been the properly dirty option. I might get one and eat it to myself for tea one of these days.

There's always 1 in those carousels that I'm not keen on. "Chips and dips" are definitely on the rota as a CBA meal option here, we like the Morrisons individual ones though, they have a good choice and they are 2 for £2 - which is about standard price for that size tub of supermarket dip.

If you want something that you know is not good for you, their chilli cheese dip is definitely at the filthy end of the scale, I've been known to just blob that stuff and some sour cream onto a plate of warmed tortilla chips topped with melted cheddar, you know it isn't doing you any good but it is pretty nice.

it's the thousand island isn't it? that was the dealbreaker at the weekend...

It varies, but I do tend to like thousand island so not normally that one - usually if there is a guacamole/avocado based one it is that, because OH makes the BEST guacamole and supermarket versions, especially in those dip carousels, are a poor facsimile and often taste a bit chemically.

If I can't dip the chip in it, it ain't happening.

I just tip the tortilla chips on a baking tray, grate cheese on them, and heat them up for a few minutes so the cheese melts on them - then pull them apart and dip them in other dips (nacho style).

You need to think filthier for this thread and go the extra mile :D

Cheese on toast with a fried egg on top, add beans, lovely.

Ugh no, this just reminds me of when I ask OH if he wants some cheese on toast because I am making some for myself and he starts requesting extra items - it's only low effort if you're lounging on the fucking sofa while someone else does it for you! :D

Oh I wouldn't do this for anyone else. I can smash this out in minutes for one. :D

Aye, it's the requesting extra items when offered something that I am going to be doing for myself that grinds my gears! Me: Do you want some cheese on toast? OH: Yes, can I also have...

Me: NO

:D

The quick and tasty go-to food over here is KD.
Most Canadian kids are raised on it.

As the ad says, if you got kids, you have to have KD.

It's macaroni and cheese and is illegal over there.

I send some to i_h_b from time to time.

Daughter adds a can of tuna to hers so the little one gets some protien.
