The demise of the 330ml can

I thought it was the same syrup, all over the world? All the "bottling" plants do is mix it with water and put it in containers. How do they make it taste so different? Or do they?

In some places it's made with corn syrup, in others it's made with fructose.

Diet Coke in a can all the way. Bottles are okay but I do find that you get flatness very quickly, and it gets warm a lot faster- but on the other hand you can pop the lid back on and put it back in your bag. I never noticed any difference between Diet Coke and Coke Light, I still drink lots on holiday though

Fat coke makes my teeth feel furry and it tastes oily. Yuck.

TBH, I not only struggle to tell the difference between coke and pepsi, but coke and and any other fizzy sugar stuff. Especially when it's very cold - all part of numbing the taste buds, which are suffering anyway from a lifetime of spliff and curries.

Indeed, Somerfield are doing15 for £4.22 at the moment, and individual cans at 74p each!!!!

Ive often thought Fanta is guilty of this. It tastes awful here, but in the Middle East and Africa, ooof that shit is tasty.

Actually maybe it has a different recipe? Because it tastes more orangey.

There is in the places I want to buy them, like petrol stations and motorway service stations! If I'm buying coke at a supermarket I'd buy a big bottle.

OK, so I'm a snob. I don't like all those sugary syrups drinks - although I'll have a coke if I've got a crashing hangover. Words minor wonders.

But I remember the last time I was in the States on business, our US counterpart - in all other respects a normal, 40 something, professional business woman, drank about five litres of coke A DAY! I just thought it was really immature.

I think its the chemicals they use, which are banded here. The stuff in India almost glowed in the dark.
