The 'Dancing on Ice' 2009 thread

Hang on, only zoooooo fancies Ray.

I think he looks like he has evil thoughts.

Not on here just in general. My friends 15 yo is all excited because he's on and I don't get it. At least Jason Donovan and Marti Pellow were actually good looking.

He gives me the creeps but that could be because he was so convincing in brookside.

Oh I see.

Yeah the childkiller thing does hang over him for me I think.

His eyebrows.

ooh Gemma gave Melinda a dirty old look at the end! Melinda's make up was scary but her routine was better, probably helped by the upbeat song...

Is no one watching this anymore?

I love dancing on ice :o

Ray Quinn really shouldn't be on this show though. He's just too good - he's certainly no 'celebrity' amateur. He looks bloody professional for gods sake, & is so way ahead of the other contestants, there's just no competition whatsoever. He needs to break his leg or something

I actually like Melinda Messanger......I find myself really rooting for her.

I agree it can be annoying when one contestant is waaay better than the others. BUT, he's so amazing that it's a pleasure to watch in my opinion, you've got the rest of them to enjoy seeing improve/fall over/make tits of themselves, so I think it's okay to have one brilliant one.

It might be a foregone conclusion he'll win, but I actually reckon he might make the final, but get voted second, in favour of someone we have seen improve.

Yeah, he is amazing to watch, i agree. But at the same time, it does seem to make the whole 'competition' a bit pointless.

Is it the judges or the public who have the final decision on who wins the final? I can't remember.

I can't remember either.
Probably the public who decide the final winner, I should think.
