Personally, I think we should put stocks all along Threadneedle Street and shove all the bankers into those stocks for public humiliation and flogging.

I also feel that - when people get sent down for TV license fee non-payment and shoplifting to feed their family, that these heads and ex-heads of banks should be given their own little bunks in Strangeways for a few years. I can't understand why they aren't being punished. They've managed to cock up the next few years of life for every man, woman and child in the UK and beyond, and created an economic crisis the likes of which we haven't seen for years and years and years, all on account of their own mendacity and greed. They have also exposed the great lie of financial capital, that the money doesn't really exist.

Perhaps jail's too good for these multi-million pound bonus-taking pigs.
