They did an album called West Coast I think, but listen to Life's A Beach. Their Kylie remix is ace, but no chugger.
I'd also recommend their remix of Mountain Of One's Brown Piano.
Mountain Of One might fit into your chug requirements actually, but you may also hate them.

How about Hiltmeyer Inc - Rockabilly - it has nothing to do with rockabilly and chugs a fair bit.

Blimey. The cymbal is certainly loud enough in that mix! Sounds more like space-rock to me - the sort of thing I grew up with in Wales.

i tried some stuff off Gilded Eternity by Loop. It does chug, but it's a little too psychedelic, it doesn't have that basic relentlessness that, say, the Faust track does.

Ditto Spacemen 3.

ANd the Hotrod track - whilst being one of the greatest singles of all time - doens't fit at all

Yep, fantastic. There's a couple of different versions - the best one clocks in at 10.36 and contains the wonderful word 'scuttle' at about 6 mins in Much of the it reminds me of Kraftwerk's Autobahn.

Scooter - definitely not your 2nd and 3rd suggestions, totally off beam. Masters of the Universe sort of fits, but You Shouldn't Do That is a better Hawkwind fit.
