    What do we think urban?

The 'Chairpod' is a chair-tripod hybrid that's either ridiculous or brilliant

    I reckon that's a clever idea.

Reminds me of the old Jasper Carrot joke...

Why are ponytails called ponytails? Because whenever you lift one up, you'll find an arsehole under it.

Might have some potential for a bit of binocular astronomy, with the added bonus of it being dark so you’d fret less about whether people thought you looked ridiculous. Though hard to beat a fully reclined deckchair for such activities.

That is genicrous. And not a bad idea.
  6. Could have its uses especially if your photography means you’re stationary for vast amounts of time. I wouldn’t want to lug it about generally.

i'm thinking the standing up version will fall over if he lets go.

eta: and if the sitting version stands up that'll topple over too. call me old fashioned but not falling over would be fairly high on my tripod wishlist.

While I would love to have a canvas attachment for something like that, it looks a little bit unstable. It needs a little more weight a little lower in its design.

It's a good job he has legs to help in that regard. :D
