The Catsa Khunts

Even in cities? A huge proportion of the housing stock is split into flats in London for example.
I'd guess it was a major factor. Don't forget that even where Brits live in houses divided into flats, there's almost always a groundfloor flat. Here, that would be most unusual.

I reckon domesticated cats have got it all wrong nowadays, theyve had too much pampering and taming over the years

To be fair, we used to have a dog that ripped up carpets, tore down curtains and shat everywhere for the best part of a year (after he came from Battersea)

He got over it. Reassurance, routine and love. Letting him out to do as he wished wasn't an option. It was the price of having a pet.

Yep, but the greatest growth in towns is of blocks of flats more similar to the continental model. Should Brits have a new attitude to cats to reflect this?

:hmm: fuck me - the grumpy ol'men are out in force today!!!!!

dont want cats poo-ing on their flower borders - maiming them with a dog thats programmed to prefer to maim/kill cats!

putting them in sacks!

you lot should be ashamed of yourselves!
like really ashamed - i bet you were the type of kids that stuck fireworks to cats tails just to se the effect or blew up froggies with straws.

I can understand the birdy issue tho coz i have stopped my cat going out early morning and evening time due to the birds being busy nesting and getting food etc.

Eh? I mentioned a theoretical case of a dog attacking cats, as many do 'naturally' in the same way owners excuse their cats own behaviour. I can't speak for others on this thread.

I like cats. No chance of firework-attaching nonsense here. Objecting to finding numerous feline turds, hunt remains and the attitude of some cat owners is another thing entirely. I'd just prefer a more balanced, responsible form of ownership that's all.

How dare you?! I would never do that to a frog.

:D Bit of PMT today sorry chaps!!!!

:hmm:

I gave our cat some extra catnip yesterday - a reward for keeping our garden bird-free for another year (the playful little rascal!)
