And in the next installment it will be....

Now shes getting used to camera she will probably be able to wear it outside. Wanted to check that she could remove it in an emergency.

How many times she chases and gets chased by the other cats probably or runs away from fluffy black and white cat from down the road.

I reckon a tortoise would be much better than a cat. Better surface mounting area and plus with a tortoise's more sedate motion the video would compress much better with fewer keyframes needed.

Of course pretty dull while they're hibernating but real netheads will watch anything.

Yes mounting the camera would be easier you could use Araldite.

I'm still getting signal problems though. Mostly dropouts. Thinking of taking the the video signal from the camera which is 1.2GHz and mounting the receiver in a box outside (the rcr only has a half wave vertical antenna and I'm going to look at replacing it with a dipole) feeding the video signal straight into a 2.4Ghz transmitter which I know has the right rang to reach from the front door to our TV monitor via a 2.4GHz receiver. Like a repeater station for the cat .

Maybe Smudge - my cat - should have her own callsign that I can superimpose in some way on the video output. Maybe she could be Mike Three Echo Oscar Whiskey

Not on the YouTube front but hopefully as I'm off sick next week I'll have a go at it.

Managed to improve the image quality slightly and am looking at putting a repeater station in the house to boost the signal so that I can get extra outdoor range.

Got some vid but am still trying to sort out the drop outs. Been a bit too busy with other projects to do more. But hopefully this weekend shoudl see more work done.
