The cat keeps bringing me frogs...

weeeeeeeeeeeeeelllllll this is probably bollocks but someone once said they're bringing you live things in because they've twigged your hunting skills need some polishing and live things are what you need to practice on, what you need to do is pretend to catch it and eat it whilst surrepticiously surrepttisch slyly secreting it for later release and then the feline will think you've 'finally' learnt how to hunt and not bring anything more in.

However, with our hunter, I loudly told her to take it OUTSIDE AND PLAY WITH IT THERE and she's never brought anything else in again.

Am I the only person who keeps hearing 'Fattening frogs for snakes' whenever they read the title?

this is the other cat who doesn't bring in frogs

It kills them instead - I had to put my fingers in my ears this morning as it tortured what sounded like a sqeaky ball for 5 mins. Dead frog is missing though....

The downside of this is then froggy can't get out again, and you'd find intact but dehydrated frogs behind the cocktail cabinet.

And found one of these today... I remember why I don't have cats.....
