Does anyone happen to know if this gentleman was playing outside the tube this morning? If so, does anybody also happen to know his name or any way of contacting him? A musician friend of mine would like to catch up with him.

Who is that wailing woman please? The one who does the acrobatic singing a la Whitney but tends towards flatness.

And also, who is the funky soul singer who who rocks and hits every note perfectly.

I’m recommending one and my pal thinks I’m talking about the other one.

I want to show him both. He's looking for a singer for his band.

    That'll be this lady.

There's a great voice in there but she destroys so many songs with horrendously pointless vocal acrobatics that often hit maximum volume but not maximum tunefulness. She has plenty of potential though.

Her name is Ruth J Brown. She got on The Voice and made the semi final.

    Yep. That’s her.

Not at all surprised she’s been on a telly talent show. I can imagine what the judges said even without watching.

The morning electric violinist has been replaced with an actual violinist

I'm convinced both the electric violinist and the accordion player are miming.

The electric one definitely is. I've been playing a game of getting him to let go of the bow- he's quite adept at faking it, but definitely isn't playing the notes that are coming from the speaker.

Non electronic violinist was actually playing.

Now moved to Oxford Street. Agree with your view. Got a lot of people watching due to sheer volume.

Currently listening to a woman outside the tube who is trying to weaponise power ballads. I'm down by marks and still in blast radius.

Is it the black woman who is always there?

Song says: just one note for the melody here, thanks
Her response: MASSIVE long note, and another and another, and another. And then even louder up and down the scales as quickly as possible.
    Song cries.
