you would have much fun driving it on our roads . Take one to the states could be fun . Anyone for snow crash pizza ? :)

It's a muscle car more than a racing car... very heavy, so changing direction not a strong point (or at least not compared to power output). .

What are you talking about. It weighs the same as a Ferrari F430.

Have another look DS. Veyron dry weight - just under 1900kg. The F430 is 1350kg.

So it weighs the same as an F430 with a driver. And an Ariel Atom on the roofrack.

The F1, probably the last car that made a splash like this, weighed even less - 1250kg running weight, maybe 700kg lighter than the fat Bugatti.

F1 cars are made artifically heavy anyway... with braking materials that are made deliberately less efficient and all sorts of 'disabilities'. 59 seconds just seems so slow for such a small 'track'... ok, it was in the wet... but I reckon a 'real driver' would smash that wet time quite hard (say 55).

A dry time might be a touch over 50.

I meant the McLaren F1 up there ^^. Dunno what Formula cars weigh...

I think they need to weigh a minimum 750 kg (unless you are BAR - in which case, you'll create a second hidden fuel tank to make it weigh about 740kg dry weight and then complain the rules didn't say that wasn't ok - the silly fuckers...)
