Strung Out in Heaven was the first I had. It's a great guitar pop album.

I got it when it came out in the 90s. I was in a box of imports that was not adressed to anyone. I worked in the post room.

I thought it was a very clever 60s soundalike record with 2 or 3 songs standing out. It wasn't until Dig that I really learned anything about them....then I revisited the album and it all became clear and I loved it after that...

New album out now. Bit of a weird one. Lots of synthy drones, whispery vocals, drum machine beats and very little in the way of guitars or BJM's usual three chord garage rock songs.

Anton is notoriously difficult and there have been onstage fights before but this one looks especially bad.

Yeah his reputation precedes him, to say the least. Pity. Saw em earlier this year and they were really good.

Yeah - I saw them in February and they were great - though slightly chaotic between songs..

I saw them at the Forum. Was that around February? I really enjoyed that show.

Saw them in NYC at the start of the USA run and they weren’t as good. The new drummer had only done a few shows with them at that point. I heard they were pretty good as they went along, and some really good nights too, but the mood got progressively worse the entire run.


I hear Anton’s made attempts to backpedal since the fight. Everyone involved knows what he’s like but this looked pretty bad. People are deeply pissed off. I hope the rifts aren’t permanent. I like Ryan in the band.
