looks like bob hoskins pub in the long good friday...

I did see an England v France rugby game where one of the locals was dressed like this-

But I think he had a string of onions round his neck too. When France won he went round the whole pub with a couple of baguettes & some brie for everyone. :D

I've never actually been there mate.

The Brewery Tap used to be my local (I always preferred it to the Kingsland or the Kings Arms, and I was never a fan of the Trolly Stop). Had some great nights in there, never really had any bother but it could get pretty crazy, I remember one night a half naked bloke walking around shouting and waving a loaf of bread around his head, obviously he didn't have much left by the time he went home. I use to prefer it before it got the paint job as well, they seemed to turn the place into a more open space inside than what I previously remembered it to be like (there were a few years where I lived in a different part of London before moving back, by which time the place had been 'done up'). You do tend to meet some interesting people while sat outside on the benches, great for those long summer evenings :)

Brewery Tap's the only pub in Dalston I really go drinking in, not that I go often. I've always found it friendly, though the TV being on all the time irritates me. Plus, they had kittens in the summer
