EMH was one of the really good characters out of Voyager (which was on the whole rubbish). Bones vs EMH in the poll and my mind...

Like what? Dunno when exactly they thought up the genetic engineering story, but there were heavy hints he was hiding something big for years. Surely O'Brien wins award for most bizzare plots: living a decades long prison sentance in an hour and having his kid daughter turn into a 20-year-old cavewoman being among the highlights. :D
I don't think the genteic stuff was done very well and then there was all that spy shite.

Yep, was just on SkyOne the other day. "Doctor Bashir, I Presume." Class episode. Had the guy who played the EMH on 'Voyager' in it as well.

Wasn't the EMH modelled on the guy who invented him Dr Zimmerman- who appears in that DS9 episode. Also wasn't the guy who played Murdoch in the A team also somehow linked with the dr?

He also met Rumpelstiltskin, in a particularly surreal episode. :D

He was also in the original Hellraiser, as Kirsty's father / Julia's husband (who ever you view as the main character)

As other DS9 actors have been mentioned on this thread, I just want to note the death of Brock Peters, who played Captain/Commander Sisko's father.

:(

Shit! I knew I knew him from somewhere :(

He also, perhaps more famously, played Admiral Cartright in Undiscovered Country, too.

Yeah, I love To Kill A Mockingbird but i'd never made the connection between him and Joseph Sisko.

Terry Farrell was in a Hellraiser film as well wasn't she? Small world.
