Can I propose the following water-slide technique?

If you want to go really fast, brace your back arched up so that only your heels and shoulder blades are in contact with the slide.

There is no comparison

wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!

Cheers, Dr!! ;) :p

Sounds

Looking forward to it tomorrow! Although hoping to avoid banging my head and giving myself a black eye like my friend did.

That's the fella - I always wondered if it makes you go faster, so nice to have independent confirmation.

Went a couple of Sunday's ago, had to hang around for about 2 hours, got tix for the 4&5th flr slides...both wik-ed. Gonna go back off my nut soon.

Like what they've done to the permanent exhibitions too since the refurb...

Fuck it, had completely forgotten about this ... I really should make the effort to go soon, does anyone know how long these slides will be there??

<lazy and late Saturday drunk mode, can't be arsed to check websites :p >

I went there a couple of weeks ago but wimped out from going on the slide, using my postnatal state as an excuse :D

I'm going to go back in the new year, though, it looks superb.

Yeah, we only queued for tix for about half an hour - that was at about 11am, but from the looks of things that stayed pretty constant all the time we were there.
