I was thinking about how you could have some kind of system to integrate a slide into an office so that it could be used to help people ascend as well. Think that they're a brillian idea for a fire escape, and would be the MOST fun in a office...think about it, slides to every floor...
The Red Bull offices in London have a slide in them to get between floors.

Nice.... don't think I'll ever work somewhere like that... will just have to come round your Crispy-designed house kyser ;) :D

*jumps up and down*

:D :D

How fun does this look?

The Tate is open until 10pm on Fridays and Saturdays, and from previous experience it is really quiet later on - probably a good time to go (after a few drinks for courage ;) )

Excellent idea, I'd be well up for a go on these after a couple of steadying beers. :D

I was thinking of doing what a load of us did for the Sun installation thing and necking some pills/mushies before going instead...

Me and mr pootle necked a pill before going to that sun thing. It was v cool lying around on the floor, and we even got into a quite clever discussion about perception an' everything!

This slide thing looks v cool too. In fact I'm quite amazed it's open at all, what with all the health and safety nonsense that goes on these days  it'll be busy for a while yet though...it's open until April so no rush

On Channel 4 news just now, which is why I found this thread.

Apparantly the g-forces are quite serious.

I am soooooo going for a ride soon!

I only managed to go on the Level 2 slide :( and will definitely go back to do the scary Level 5 slide soon, but I couldn't resist posting up one of the several photos I took this afternoon:

I went and had a gander today, it was rocking. I'm going back tomorrow for the level 5! WOOOOOOOOO!

I'm am SO up for this. :D

And what with late opening at the Tate on Friday, and with not much (?) Urban related going on this coming Friday, how about Friday 13th October, early evening?

We could meet nearby, at the Founders Arms.

Despite me being anxious about the big slides at The Level in Brighton, I am so looking fwd to this.

Until April, I believe.

Meantime, there's Battersea to look fwd to..

Iconic :D
