The best old-skool house comp ever ...

that came up somewhere before, altho i wouldn't discount it? it's a top tune.

spooky and billie ray martin doing persuasion would be a good un for some pervy action :)

You should tune in to Nu-Rave Radio sundays 6-9 for a mix up of old skool and Nu Rave beats.
Last nights show was an absolute corker.
Dj Mulder, Shangfu & Gremino (finland) played awsome sets (even dropped in a Stakker Humanoid mix at request), then Dj Boca really tore it up (even if there was a problem with lag).

The sets should be available to download in the next day or 2.

Ta, will have a look.:)

The Best Old Skool? Well the expanded experience cd by the Prodigy has some great genre defining trax, so has to be mentioned.

Acen - Trip II The Moon (The Darkside)
Altern 8 - Activ 8 (Come With Me) (Hardcore Holocaust Mix)
Ratpack - Searchin' For My Rizla
SL2 - On a Ragga Tip and Way in my Brain
Usura - Open your mind
Utah Saints - Something Good (original)
Moby - Go (Rainforest Mix)
2 Bad Mice - Bombscare
Baby Ford - Oochy Coochy

Tho maybe that last one is going a bit close to Acid. It depends how broad you want it to be...

Okmaybe one of youse lot can help me identify a track - either where the vocal sample is from originally or what it's been used in. Not really sure it would be classed as old skool though. The lyrics are something along the lines of:

I'm suprised to see your suitcase at the door, remember the good times don't you want some more
I think there are bits where the words 'we got a love' are repeated - thats pobbaly what the track is called! :o

help?!

the original line is from the salsoul classic 'let no man put asunder' by first choice. it's been used in loads of shit since then...

1.DJ H & Stefy "Come On Boy" (Larry Levan Remix)* 1992

2.Loose Joints - Is It All Over My Face (Femal Vocal) Larry Levan Production..

Infact most stuff by Larry levan.

'all over my face' isn't a levan production - it's arthur russell. fucking tune anyway...

<edit: ah, there was a levan remix? nice...>
