The Best Looking British Cars

Morris Minors look fantastic. E Type jags are cool too.

i've always thought that the early etypes were to skinny on the wheels it looks like they sit wrong. the later ones were a bit fatter and sat better...

nearly bought one as my first car it was £800 which was a bloody fortune to me but i was smitten with owning one. took it for a test drive it pulled to the left all the time and had many many many visable holes through which you could see the road. It was a builders car really and had been treated very unkindly... it diid have that glorious engine note and felt like it would have been a hell of a goer if i had tried. in the end i went for the sensible option and didn't get it got a moggie instead i have to say the traveller handelled much better and was a lot smoother than the Etype...

subsiquent etypes have drive have sadly put me more and more off them as an orniment they are great, but they aren't all that... now the C type... or the Dtype... oh dear god :D it's a shame that the production models were a comprimise too far...

Not british but I don't care! I once had a ride in one of these around Keilder Forest and my guts were in the back seat. AMAZING piece of kit.

With small cars, though, the question is the old Ford Anglia:

Is the old Anglebox endearing or ridiculous? I can never decide.

Blimey my dad had one of these when I was a nipper. He used to rally prepare cars and took my mum in one that he modified and ended up leaving the rear axle at a set of traffic lights! :)
