The best anime ever!

Ah but that's all in the translation. Shito means messenger from heven, and though tenshi means angel as a direct translation, the western idea of an angel in the case of eva might be closer to shito than tenshi .

Also see 'second children' which is just a cock up.

hmmmmm where would you get this american box set from?

there are different collections "perfect" and "platinum" this is so confusing

nuuuuuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

well this is what it is like neon genesis is an alternative title which has a simular concept but isn't e direct translation

plus with the whole angel thing it's also because the concept of angels had a certain interest in anime/manga/japan in general (aparently)

your are like a confusion-generator!!

;)

Forget the perfect collection. That's just all the old ones in a box. After that they released the platinum collection dvds(better remastered quality) which also includes the directors cut episodes. They then released a thin pack box set with all of the DVDs in at once. So far the the thin pac box has only come out in the US.

Nah, I am over my toy phase. (unless you see any of those UY super marmits I was telling you about, then it's all back on).

i juts like to add 'Beserk' to the list of anime i liked. I don't know why, but i totally fell in love with it. Probs cos tis beautiful and extremely dark and painful witha totally skewed morality combined with what appears to be on the surface a remarkably straight forward fairytale dynamic.

strangly enough i feel like i know berserk even though i have never watched/read it

guess just by seeing all the clips/parodies and reading about it

one of the best bits i have is clips from beserk along to "anything you can do i can do better"

actully there is a few of them

as for death note..

well i liked the manga... just because you really get to see light develop from his original self who seemed like a normal inteligent person into this mad evil(sorta) character... but it got crap after they killed L

but it does have some quite funny comedy gay porn versions of it

Her manga detailing the daily life and adventures of the cats Nyaako and Nyaatta are held in high esteem. The major themes of her work are a child-like zaniness, cruelty and nostalgia. And, as we know from Dream Memo, included in the posthumously released compilation Nekojiru Udon 3, many of her bizarre works of fantasy were based on her own dream experiences. Psychedelic mushrooms and LSD also often appear in her works.
