i make a point of jeering and hurling insults from the sidelines whenever i come across groups of manga & anime enthusiasts discussing the stuff as if it's okay to like manga & anime, as if people like that should be left alone to enjoy their life-style in peace.

akamatsu really knows what fans want so his stuff does hit the mark... the love hina anime though pales in comparison to the manga
at least it's better than the first negima anime
and it sticks fairly close to the manga
though one major problem with it is this...

i'm looking for some decent anime.... i'm a complete novice... but have seen GIS film and akira. watched couple of Cowboy Bebop.... didnt think it was more than alright, kind of dissapointed after plenty of people insisted i watched it....
is it worth sticking with?

i remember speaking to shippou at an urban shindig and he recommended i watch something which i can tfor the life of me remember... the plot had something to do with a character who was writing an anime series.... i know how very post modern... it sounded interesting though....

cowboy bebop was nice... some good stories some good animation and a good voice acting cast
but i found it hung together really badly... as a series
personally i think recomendations are a bit difficult ... it really depends on what your after
