What's that from? I only watched the nickelodeon era from the early 90s to the early 00s, hence the somewhat bias choices, spongebob wasn't on much til later and when he was I never really rated it, it's ok but not a patch on the likes of Rocko's modern life.

Yeah I know but they were still broadcast by Nickelodeon, most cartoons weren't actually made by nick, Rugrats were made by Klasky Csupo, as were Real Monsters and Ren and Stimpy was made by Spümcø. Loads of animation studios all contributed to the rich tapestry that is Nicktoons
