Forever changes would win even if the only track on it was that "Wonder People (I do Wonder) track from the outtakes

I love that track, even though it doesn't fit the rest of the album...

I voted for Sgt Pepper's.

'Forever Changes' is up there with 'Pet Sounds' as the most over-rated load of old crap ever.

Velvet Underground and Nico and White Light/White Heat
Hendrix: Are You Experienced and Axis: Bold As Love
The Doors: The Doors

Any of them are better than both of 'em.

[cough] Absolutely Free by the Mothers of Invention

Produced by former Beatles engineer, Norman Smith (who also produced Piper at the Gates of Dawn for the Floyd) ;)

'67 was a damn good year for albums (I am biased, though :)):

Cream: Disraeli Gears
Captain Beefheart: Safe as Milk
Floyd: Piper at the Gates of Dawn
Velvet Underground and Nico and White Light/White Heat
Hendrix: Are You Experienced and Axis: Bold As Love
Aretha: I Never Loved A Man The Way I Loved You
The Kinks: Something Else by the Kinks
The Doors: The Doors
The Byrds: Younger than Yesterday
The Who: The Who Sell Out
Bonzos: Gorilla
Buffalo Springfield: Buffalo Springfield Again
The Electric Prunes: I Had Too Much To Dream (Last Night)
I need to check out the 60s - never heard any of those albums

what year was the Zombies Odyssey and Oracle?
Odessey and Oracle came out in 68, but it's no forever changes.
*edit*
upon researching, it seems that recording started midway through '67. Must have been something in the water that year
