Apricot = yuk! Peach = yum! S'obvious innit. I have a sweet tooth, though I do like lemon.
oh, but when you cook apricots with a little bit of sugar they are lovely and sweet. Like apricot jam - well not quite - like apricot compote. yummy

A direct consequence of this thread has been that Morrisons sold an extra Apple Crumble and a carton of Ambrosia Devon Custard this evening :o

When I was little I told my Mum I had to eat beetroot pudding and custard at school. "It was horrible!" wimpered little Groucho. "Don't be daft", said Grouch's Mum, "they wouldn't serve beetroot pudding!" "They did, it's disgustin', I nearly puked", cried little Groucho in earnest, "except that I heard that Barry had once puked in his samolena and the dinner ladies made him eat it all up. So I held it in and every time it came up I swallowed it back down." "Are you sure?" "Yes, 'cos Sam said he saw it when Barry was sick and.." No, I mean are you sure it was beetroot? You know that bright redstuff?" "Yes, yes! And they made me eat it!"

Mum was all ready to go down the school and have words. Only it wasn't beetroot it was rhubarb. Easy mistake to make. It was however, bloody disgustin, and they made me eat it all up. Blurgh!
