That Russian MP3 site

How difficult is it to keep up an Oink account? Or use Soulseek. Or-what-the-fuck-ever?

As for the too old excuse - what the fuck is wrong with you man? Get a grip!

Geez.

Oink is a private torrent site, ive not used it myself, but from having a Karagarga account the best strategy to keeping a good ratio is to start downloading torrents with many leeches even if you don't want it , you will at least see people seeding from you.

It was a rhetorical question you numpty.

I was expressing surprise at Fridge Magnet deciding to be a auld fart.

Is there a way to get details off sites like these? I did pay for a few albums a while back; I did believe they were genuine. I'd rather they didn't have my details.

Yes.

Although I'm not sure it would stand up in court if they tried to sue every person that used the site. Even if you knew it was dodgy you could quite easily plead you assumed it was legit.

Not on your Nelly, I do believe. You can send all the begging, pleading and threatening emails you like, but if they're not scared of the RIAA then I hardly think that some nobody Brit waving a copy of the Data Protection Act at them is going to do much.

it was worth finding out.

I'm suddenly very concerned about uysing/gving my details online (which i rarely do anyway).

Perhaps the bank will change my numbers.
