If we had a proper striker then we'd be alright.

Anyone going tonight? All the buildup seems to be about potential crowd trouble rather than the Football. The KUMB rumour mill has Chelsea and Millwall fans turning up for some sort of pitched battle in the park.

No, I'm steering well clear. (and I'm in Middlesbrough so it would be tricky).

It's definitely going to be the first proper test. I don't hold out much hope to be honest.

Football wise we've got a chance, especially if we play a strong team and they play some kids. Which is likely i think.

Yeah I`m there , the first real test of security . I figure there is going to be some trouble , its so open , hopefully confined to a few idiots but would not bet against a big tear up .

Having said that you cannot deny that its the sort of atmosphere and anticipation that brings out the best in the support inside the stadium , hard to get a balance , for 90 mins inside the ground irrational hatred works a treat .

    COYI !

Sounds like it was a good night. I always miss the epic midweek games.:(

Hopefully we'll get Hull/Newcastle in the semis now. The Olympic Stadium should be good practice for all those Wembley finals.

I was assuming that we will sweep that rabble away in the QF on our way to glory (i.e. losing to Arsenal in the final).

Well that was fun , cannot and will not condone the violence but it did make for an atmosphere that we have not had so far this season and proves that for big games we can create a good vibe in the new place , 6 arrests ? more than that in most city centres on a Saturday night , mostly hand bags from what I saw , a few plastic bottles and progams being thrown . I expected worse .

On the football side we were excellent in every position , on that showing we are one good striker away from being able to compete with the very best in the league .

It was an interesting game with us both playing the same formations, not that any of our wonderful meedya have noticed.

Too little too late from our lot.

Hammers are sort of getting the reputation this year that Millwall have been trying to lose.

Stupid songs are hardly the preserve of us and them though are they?

We've got some idiots following us. The stadium doesn't help though.

I'm getting really bored of all the stupid, stupid goals we concede.

And after all that balls about getting a 'marquee' striker we end up with Antonio and Fletcher up front.
Next time out...Fernandes at RM instead of Antonio; drop Lanzini and have Payet, Ayew and Zaza up front.
