All sausages are a bit rubbish, whether veggie or otherwise. That's what they're for. A tube of crap leftovers, to take up space on a plate of fry-up.

Having said that, I might try making my own one of these days. The hippie indoors likes then on a plate of breakfast, so it's probably worth a bit of an experiment.

My mum has this weird contraption for making sausages. She usually makes goa sausages in them, but has made normal ones in them. I remember them being quite tasty. Biggles in marylebone do really really nice sausages. And they're about the same price as the expensive supermarket ones.
