Tempted to buy 1kg of goji berries

After reading this thread I thought I'd have a look in the local H&B, only to find they are on sale £1.29 for 75g.

They remind me of figs in flavour. I am now sitting back and eagerly waitng for my spurt of energy. ;)

Have yours arrived yet Winky?

Mine are being delivered to work tomorrow!

2.5Kg of bountiful berries arrived yesterday :)
They've already turned my whole mouth red, but I'm feeling incredibly bouncy, I feel like an invisible force is pushing along

Yay!

I didn't realise I had to reply to the confirmation email until Weds. It seems like a very personalised operation! They couldn't deliver on Thurs because their regular delivery pickie-uppie chappie was on hols, ha. Guessing it's not that big a company, bless :D

HOWEVER, mine will now be delivered on MONSBERRY!!! I have some H&B gojiiiiiiiiiis to see me through til then! YAAAAAAAY!

Same here - just brought some today after reading this thread. I went into H &B and got 4 packs of what i thought was 75g, however the bill came to about £20!! "Shit" i thought - that's well expensive - i had picked up the 150g bags instead! I think the woman beind the till thought i was trying to pull a fast one!

Well, i have tried some, but can't feel the effects yet. I enjoyed them, as they reminded me of a cross between dried cranberries and dried figs. I havn't any orange juice, so i am trying soaking them in cranberry juice instead.

My 2.5kg came in the post this morning, ha. My clients and colleagues think I'm barking. 'You're proper eccentric you are, mrs quoad' in the words of my most successful client evereverever (to date) :)

Normal food round work is deep fried pork and beef sandwich spread, with value sausages and cheese on top :)

Most confusing.

Why is she not a Mr Q?

Golly, it's Darlene. She works at St. Veronica's hospital, lives nearby at the house of a Mrs. Quoad, a lady widowed long ago and since suffering a series of antiquated diseases - greensickness, tetter, kibes, purples, imposthumes and almonds in the ears, most recently a touch of scurvy.

Full Mrs Quoad background here :)

Hahaha!

Negotiable ;)

But I'll make the point of coming back to this thread in my next post!

RIGHT!!!

I have just made a small batch of some highly experimental chocolate goji fudge.

Reports on success or failure tomorrow, but it's looking promising :D

*prepares to join goji berries cult*

Thing is, right.

In the last two days I've eaten 2 packs of Loquats, 2 packs of kumquats, a pack of lychees, 300g blackberries, 300g blueberries, 8 passionfruit, a couple of bananas, a couple of Taylors Gold pears, 1kg of peas and one fat plum.

I'm not sure I'm feeling the gojis right now :D
