I like Bethnal Green. I think you'd like the Dalston/London Fields area too, that's where I'd choose to live again.

I've recently moved to Manor House/Finsbury Park, and am loving it.

Am on a quiet road but it's only about 10 mins walk to Finsbury Park for two tube lines and an overground in Zone 2. I tend to get buses everywhere though and it usually takes me less than an hour door to door from my gaff to work/uni in Russell Square. Two nice parks nearby too.

I is hearting North London, after living in and around Brixton for the last 7 years or so.

One thing to investigate is the council tax prices in the areas you are thinking of moving to as there can be some really big differences. Like Wandsworth is really cheap (3rd cheapest in the country last time I heard) and Hackney can be pretty pricey from what I gather.
