Tell me what acts you'd like to play Offline!

The Dials - fucking' supurb
Rod Stern - I expect the moody bugger will demand more than 1 pint though.

Another vote/plug here for Imperial Leisure...saw them last night and they were brilliant, almost as good as their portaloo guerrilla gig in the dorset ;)

One happy punter whispered in my ear, "how can they be so good?" :D

I'm sure Dumpy's Rusty Nuts would play for a couple of pints.

I imagine this would be the same person who wants to text all the sound systems to tell them how good they are. ;)

When I lived in Germany I used to always go and watch the Wholesome Fish, from Nottingham, whenever they were touring. They were fantastic, great for dancing. Maybe you could drop them a line, though it would have to be sometime when they were already playing in London.

I know the bassist out of the Mystery Jets.

They've been on MTV, Kerrang and played big festies and stuff. Oooh!
He'll probably tell you to fark off, but feel free to ask!

get the native hipsters. i'd come from preston to see 'em. and my dad would...
I used to know them a bit - when I was in the Monochrome Set, their guitarist - Lester Square - played on one of their singles. Still got it somewhere too!

i'd be very surprised if the buffs would do it, billy is rather fond of getting paid, i believe.
True, but you can only ask.

I note that former Offline star Howard Marks has just announced a hefty UK tour!

Invited!

Buff Medways...

Have you got an email contact for them?

No, I don't, but I've just found Billy Childish's entry on MySpace, you might be able to contact him through there:

Billy Childish (he's the boss of the Buffs)

But you need to be a member (I'm not) to send a message...

I think James Maddock would do it next time he's in the UK. He's trying to build up a fanbase in New York at the moment and has written loads of new tracks.

I saw him at What's Cookin' in Leytonstone not so long ago and he was a grumpy sod, demanding perfect quiet before he would play.

However, he was brilliant and he was playing for free unless you count the hat being passed round at the end of the night. :)

My Gosh, I just realised the link I gave for Naked Ruby was broken...

They're worth checking out, I tell ya!
I invited them last year but they weren't up for the two-beers-only thang.

I've tried again, though.

And I´ll pick a band too, er how about Hacksaw? One man with a guitar and one man with a very beaten up drum kit have a laugh and play some good punk rock (and throw about some toilet paper) :D
Booked for the October Offline!
