Just read about this lot....surely tailor made for Offline...!

THE PUKES
The pUKEs are a 20-strong punk ukulele band based in London. They play songs by the likes of Dead Kennedys, Exploited, Xray Spex, The Clash, etc like you never heard ‘em before. Their massive stage presence and raucous live show has landed them slots at Rebellion punk festival and Shoreditch 1234, as well as gigs with many of the bands who inspired them, including Sham 69, Bad Manners, Chelsea, Menace and Subhumans. Around half the pUKEs were ‘non musicians’ before they learned the uke, the others have been in bands such as UK Subs, Extreme Noise Terror and Lost Cherrees.

Well it's more to do with how the pub has changed: there's a new ludicrously low capacity being enforced on the venue which means the band may well have ended up playing to just a handful of people.

What's the situation re. live music at Offline nights? I notice the next two are both DJ nights. Is there potential for live acts upstairs at the Market House?

Sadly, there is no more live music at the Albert. A real shame.

I'm not sure live acts would work so well at the Market House as it's not an ideal shape.
