Sensible suggestions please.
I'll plug these guys again:
They're great and I've seen them at the Railway and the Half Moon so they'd probably be up for another local gig.

Jon Gomm is a bit of a gig tart, he'll play anywhere anytime.
The Barley Mob
I'll even host a few of the lads, they are old mates.
The Obscuritones. London based rockabilly outfit. I went to school with one of them until he got kicked out for being a tad too rock'n'roll.
They've already played Offline
My mate's band OH! my head might be up for playing offline. They've just moved from London to Brighton but I think they'd be up for a London gig. Sort of fast new punk I guess, with a dubby edge and a bit of pop chucked in.
I nearly booked him a while ago.
Do it, he's fantastic. Stephen Fry says so.
I was going to suggest the correspondents
Im biding my time to come and discover Offline until there's someone playing Ive got a hope of liking.
I asked them ages ago but got no reply. We've got a great band this Friday.
And then 30 drummers the week after!
Really? They seem to whore themselves out for the entirety of the summer, then dissappear in winter? So it maybe a timing thing?
I need to read up about offline, I thought it was bimonthly, but it seems to be weekly?
I can't match Hootenanny's vast budget, so some Offline-type bands are now out of reach. I'm doing a lot more Offlines at the moment mainly because it's going so well and I've so many good bands I want to put on.
Ah I see....... I will come to one!
A few suggestions I'd stick in are galanastra (brilliant at nozstock, although they're from wales, long way id imagine), swing zazou (brill at SGP last year, although you've already said you dont like electroswing), drunken balordi, gypsy unit.
One of my freinds is in a band, and I believe they've just moved from bristol to london (might be wrong on that), they might be up for it if you like them?
Drunken Balordi are practically Offline regulars
o rly? Only heard of them recently
They've been knocking around for quite a while. I'm sure they played Offline at least three times last year. They're always ace live, although their name is VERY apt
The singer is often to be found on the floor at Offline, as he was on Friday
Live and learn......
Check out the carnyvillains still, I tried in vain to watch them at boomtown for the last couple of years, but saw them doing the invisible circus in bristol.
The Voyeurist. Saw them at the Lexington Supporting Robots In Disguise last weekend, really bloody good
Based in brixton I think...
Can I recommend The Space Agency, top Hove based psychedelic surf band, been going for a decade now, so they may have already played!.
oh and Eric Kleptone (he of playing a set at the last PROD fame) too..
Already played here. And were ACE.
It was a request for another appearance, they did the Windmill and the audience were shit.
